Jakarta - PT MNC Investama Tbk (BHIT) has received approval from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia to change its name to PT MNC Asia Holding Tbk officially.

"Under my direct leadership, MNC Asia Holding will not stop looking for business opportunities that are beneficial for stakeholders and shareholders, as well as strengthen its position in the industry," said the MNC Group CEO, Hary Tanoesoedibjo, in a written statement in Jakarta on Thursday (8/25).

He first announced the plan to change the company's name at the 2022 EGMS because it was deemed necessary to adjust to the company's line of business and reflect the development of MNC Asia Holding, which has now transformed into a multinational company.

BHIT is a conglomeration of companies with subsidiaries, each of which has become a leader in the media, financial services, entertainment, hospitality and energy sectors.

Currently, MNC Media is focused on enhancing its digital initiatives to better serve the public and strengthen its position as the most integrated media group in Southeast Asia.
