Jakarta - PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi (Mitratel) has again taken over 4,000 telecommunication towers belonging to PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel).

Telkom's information disclosure submitted to the IDX on Friday (3/9) stated that following the takeover, Mitratel will lease back the 4,000 towers to Telkomsel and lease 1,170 lands, where the towers are located, owned by Telkomsel.

Telkomsel and Mitratel marked the transaction implementation by signing the deed of towers transfer and takeover agreement on August 31, 2021.

The value of the transfer of 4,000 telecommunication towers owned by Telkomsel by Mitratel is Rp. 6.188 trillion, including advances for land rent and land leases owned by Telkomsel by Mitratel for ten years.
