Deputy Minister of SOE Pahala Mansury said PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi (Mitratel) and PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy would hold an initial public offering (IPO) this year.

"We plan to register as an additional two SOE subsidiaries, namely geothermal holding and Mitratel," he said at the online event of the National Committee for Islamic Economy and Finance quoted Friday (16/7).

According to Pahala, the IPO plan for the two SOEs business entities is expected to increase the performance of the Indonesian capital market and the Islamic capital market.

"We hope that the listing of SOE subsidiaries this year and in the coming years will further encourage the excitement of the Indonesian capital market, as well as the Islamic capital market in general," he explained.
