MIKA Allocates Rp500 Billion, to Continue Buy Back Shares


Jakarta - PT Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat Tbk (MIKA) plans to buy back 200 million shares, with a maximum allocation of Rp500 billion.

"The buyback of the company's shares will be carried out starting from February 11, 2022, to May 10, 2022," said MIKA's management, as quoted in the information disclosure statement submitted to the IDX on Friday (11/2).

MIKA's management emphasized that the company has adequate capital and reserve funds. Therefore, the allocation of share buyback funds will come from internal cash. Therefore, it does not require additional financing and does not significantly impact the decline in the company's income.

"The share buyback plan will not affect the company's revenue. However, this will result in a decrease in the number of outstanding shares but is expected to increase the company's earnings per share, "the company said in the statement.
