Jakarta - The business entity of PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA), PT Merdeka Tsingshan Indonesia (MTI), has obtained a single currency term loan facility of US$260 million.

Based on information disclosure, Monday (5/9), the lenders are Credit Agricole Corporation and Investment Bank Singapore Branch, ING Bank NV Singapore Branch, Natixis Singapore Branch, Overseas Chinese Banking Corporation Limited, Bank OCBC NISP, Bank HSBC Indonesia, and Bank UOB Indonesia.

This loan will be used to pay MTI's debts to the company, finance capital expenditures, construction costs, and operational costs of the acid iron metal project developed by MTI, pay interest during the project's construction phase, as well as fund MTI's needs.

The transaction was carried out to strengthen MTI's funding structure for the development of its subsidiaries' business activities.
