Jakarta - PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) increased the provision of funds in the form of an advance for a conditional capital deposit to PT Batutua Tambang Abadi (BTA), amounting to Rp550 billion.

Based on the company's disclosure of information submitted on Friday (7/1), the total commitments increased to Rp6.2 trillion with this deposit.

The company will use a number of these funds to support BTA corporate actions in the future, including the investment in PT Hamparan Logistik Nusantara.

The commitment value is 48.26% of the company's consolidated equity ending on March 31, 2022, amounting to US$895.226 million, or equivalent to US$432.025 million.

The company is the shareholder of BTA, about 99.50%, while PT Batutua Abadi Jaya owns 0.50%.
