Jakarta - PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) plans to issue shares with pre-emptive rights of up to 1.206 billion at Rp2,830 per share.

According to the company's brief prospectus published on Wednesday (22/12), the total amount obtained is Rp3.412 trillion.

The company will use all the net funds obtained from rights issue II for general liquidity needs, capital expenditures, and working capital.

Through the rights issue, the company aimed to strengthen the company's capital structure to provide added value to support the company's performance.

If the company's shareholder does not exercise their Preemptive Rights in rights issue II, the ownership of the shareholder of the company will be diluted with a maximum percentage of 5% of the total share ownership.

The implementation schedule is: the EGMS will be held on January 27, 2022, and the submission of the minutes of the EGMS to OJK and IDX on February 28, 2022.
