A science and technology company PT Merck Tbk (MERK), aims to grow its revenue performance by 3% in 2021.

MERK's President Director Evie Yulin said that the 3% growth rate looks small, but BRAND will still grow well above the market forecast of minus 1.9% based on projections from IQVIA.

"It should be noted, this 3% growth looks small but we will grow well above the market. The predicted market growth in 2021 is only minus 1.9%, so we are quite high above the market," she said on Thursday (17/6).

As an illustration, MERK posted revenue of Rp655.84 billion last year, a decrease of 11.92% YoY from the original Rp744.63 billion in 2019.

Meanwhile, the company's profit notch contracted 8.12% to Rp71.90 billion at the end of December 2020.

This year, MERK has allocated a capital expenditure (capex) of EUR 3.3 million.
