Lippo Karawaci Eyes Millennials to Meet 2021 Pre-sales Target


The millennial generation is the driving force for PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR) to achieve this year's pre-sales target.

Lippo Karawaci CEO John Riady said the convenience facilities offered during the pandemic helped millennials have their first residence with a suitable payment scheme.

"The large segment of the millennial segment also makes us optimistic that we can achieve all the business plans that have been set this year with a projected sales growth of 30%," in his statement on Tuesday (10/8).

According to John, in the first semester of 2021, the realization of LPKR's pre-sales continued to strengthen. Development growth from the real estate sector reached 47.17% on an annual basis to Rp1.93 trillion.

"Furthermore, the real estate management and services business also increased by 32.89% to Rp5.26 trillion as of the end of June 2021. Furthermore, LPKR's pre-sales in the second quarter of 2021 rose 193% to Rp1.
