Lack of Sentiments, JCI Opens Tad Higher


The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) at the opening of trading Tuesday (29/6) opened up 4.77 points amidst the lack of sentiment to move the market.

"The Indonesian stock exchange is expected to move flat and tend to weaken, in line with the lack of sentiment and falling commodity prices," said PT Samuel Sekuritas Research in Jakarta.

In addition, market participants may choose to wait for Indonesia's Market Manufacturing PMI and inflation data, which will be released this Thursday.

As for the JCI, at the opening of trading this Tuesday, it opened up 4.77 points (0.08%) to 5,944.24. Meanwhile, the leading stock index LQ45 rose 0.86 points (0.1%) to 836.36.

Meanwhile, this morning's Asian market conditions were mixed, with the Nikkei opening down 0.42% and the Kospi up 0.10%.
