Lack of Sentiment, JCI Opens Lower


The lack of global and domestic sentiment triggered a correction in the Jakarta Composite Index at the opening of trading on Thursday (17/6) by 15.3 points.

"The Indonesian stock market has the potential to move sideways with the lack of sentiment from global and domestic," said PT Samuel Sekuritas Research in Jakarta.

He added that the expected release of economic data today is Indonesia's 7DRRR as of June 2021, which is projected to stabilize the market at the level of 3.5%.

Meanwhile, at the opening of trading this Thursday, the JCI opened corrected 15.03 points (0.25%) to 6,063.54. Meanwhile, the leading stock index LQ45 fell 4.4 points (0.5%) to 880.71.
