Unilever Indonesia Net Profit Falls 15.86% YoY in First Semester to Rp3.04 Trillion


PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) in the first semester of 2021 posted a profit of Rp3.04 trillion, a decrease of 15.86% compared to the same period in the previous year of Rp3.61 trillion.

The company's financial report published Friday (23/7) showed a decline in net sales of around 7.33% from Rp21.77 trillion to Rp20.17 trillion in the first semester of 2021 dragged the profit lower.

The cost of goods sold also decreased by 6.22% to Rp9.92 trillion from Rp10.58 trillion.

Until the first semester of 2021, UNVR's total assets were at Rp20.27 trillion, consisting of liabilities of Rp16.26 trillion and equity of Rp4.01 trillion.

Meanwhile, the position of cash and cash equivalents at the end of June 2021 amounted to Rp527.35 billion, a twofold decrease from the previous period of around Rp1.31 trillion.
