Jakarta - PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) announced an increase in profit for the current January-September 2021 period by 35.06% to Rp865.498 billion from the same period last year of Rp640.805 billion.

The company's financial report published on Monday (18/10) showed profit growth was supported by an increase in sales of around 22.99% to Rp2.776 trillion from  Rp2.257 trillion.

SIDO also managed to pocket a surge in operating profit of around 37.15% to Rp1.078 trillion from Rp786.041 billion. The increase in other income supported the increase in operating profit, more than double to Rp20.757 billion from Rp8.525 billion.

However, the cost of goods sold decreased by around 16.73%, or from Rp1.040 trillion to Rp1.214 trillion.

Meanwhile, SIDO's total assets as of September this year were recorded at Rp3.650 trillion with liabilities of Rp587.237 billion and equity of Rp3.063 trillion.
