Jakarta - PT Semen Indonesia Tbk recorded an increase in profit attributable to owners of entities in the first half of this year of around 4.36% to Rp828,763 billion from Rp794,122 billion in the same period last year.

The company's financial report released on Monday (9/5) showed that the growth of other operating income supported the strengthening of profit by around 724.66% to Rp60.778 billion from Rp7.370 billion.

SMGR also pocketed a share of the net proceeds of associates and joint ventures of Rp2.373 billion from the previously recorded expenses of around Rp15.689 billion.

Financial expenses shrank by about 23.90% to Rp662.527 billion from Rp870.624 billion.

Revenue decreased by about 2.07% to Rp15.876 trillion from Rp16,213 trillion.

The cost of revenue was able to be maintained at the position of Rp11.466 trillion.

Financial income also almost doubled to Rp42,069 billion from Rp80.542 billion.
