Jakarta - PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (Mitratel) increased its profit by 129.78% to Rp1.381 trillion in 2021 from Rp601.964 billion the previous year.

The financial report released on Thursday (10/3) reported that Mitratel's low cost of revenue drove the higher profit achievement by around 10.44% to Rp3.651 trillion from Rp4.077 trillion.

Operating profit increased by around 61.36% to Rp2.740 trillion from Rp1.698 trillion. However, operating expenses increased by about 16.24% to Rp478,218 billion from Rp411,393 billion.

Mitratel also increased its revenue by approximately 11.04% to Rp6.869 trillion from Rp6.186 trillion. Financial income more than doubled, rising from Rp39,521 billion to Rp75,537 billion.

The company also reduced other expenses by around 35.25% to Rp96,285 billion, from Rp148,713 billion.
