Jakarta - PT Kimia Farma Tbk (KAEF) throughout 2021 posted a profit for the year attributable to owners of Rp302.27 billion, an increase of 1,613% compared to the same period the previous year of Rp17.63 billion.

The financial report released on Thursday (3/31) showed that an increase in net sales of 28.49% to Rp12.85 trillion from Rp10.006 trillion supported the profit growth.

Operating expenses were successfully reduced by about two times, or to Rp1.5 trillion, from the previous year's Rp3.32 trillion.

KAEF was also able to pocket the difference in foreign exchange rates of Rp6.63 billion from the previous loss of Rp8.28 billion.

The total assets of KAEF are recorded at Rp17.76 trillion in 2021, with liabilities of Rp10.52 trillion and equity of Rp7.23 trillion.
