Jakarta - PT Indika Energy Tbk (INDY), until the first semester of 2022, posted a profit for the period attributable to owners of US$200.65 million, an increase of around 1,571% compared to the same period the previous year of US$12.006 million.

The company's financial report published Friday (8/5), the surge in profit was by an increase in revenue of around 66.49% to US$ 1.93 billion compared to the same period the previous year of US $ 1.16 billion.

The company also doubled investment income to US$3.24 million from US$1.31 million.

However, the cost of contracts and sales jumped about 40.33% to US$1.27 billion from US$905 million.

Until the first semester of 2022, INDY's total assets were valued at US$3.96 billion, with cash and cash equivalents at the end of the period of around US$1.01 billion.
