Dharma Satya Net Profit Rises 19% YoY to Rp125.1 Billion in First Semester
Jakarta - PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk (DSNG) reported a profit of Rp213 billion in the first semester of 2021, up 19% from the same period last year's profit of Rp125.086 billion, driven by an increase in the average price of CPO and improved performance in the wood products business.
The sales value was Rp3.3 trillion, a 5% increase from Rp3.1 trillion. The palm oil business segment generated Rp2.7 trillion, or almost 82%, of total revenues.
Compared to the first semester of last year, the sales value of palm oil climbed by 2%, although the sales volume of CPO this semester declined by 10% to 279 thousand tons due to a drop in production. DSNG's FFB production was 1 million tons in the first half of this year, down 2.1%, with a total processed FFB of 1.27 million tons, down 1.9% from the same period last year.
