Jakarta - PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (TPIA) recorded a significant net profit growth throughout 2021 of around 195% to US$152 million, compared to the previous year of only US$51 million.

The net profit increased, according to TPIA Director Suryandi, due to a 43% increase in revenue to US$2.580 billion from US$1.806 billion and a 91% increase in EBITDA to US$356.2 million from US$186.7 million.

The higher average selling prices on all sides supported the increase in net income. Meanwhile, the strengthening of EBITDA was supported by the rise in spreads and the realization of the company's financial resilience strategy.

The EBITDA margin increased to 13.8% from 10.3%, reflecting a better and healthier margin.
