Jakarta - PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) throughout 2021 posted a profit for the year attributable to owners of Rp7.90 trillion, an increase of 231.47% compared to the same period the previous year of Rp.2.38 trillion.

According to the company financial report released on Monday (7/3), the surge in profit for the year was in line with an increase in revenue of around 68.89% to Rp29.26 trillion, from Rp17.32 trillion.

PTBA's operating profit increased more than four times, from Rp2.52 trillion to Rp9.95 trillion.

The company's total assets were Rp36.12 trillion at the end of December 2021, with an equity position of Rp24.25 trillion and liabilities of Rp11.86 trillion.
