Jakarta - PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BRIS) throughout 2021 posted a net profit of Rp3.02 trillion, an increase of 38.45% compared to the same period the previous year, Rp2.18 trillion.

The financial report published on Monday (31/1) showed an increase in revenue from fund management as mudharib by around 5.19% to Rp17.80 trillion from Rp16.92 trillion, supported the increase in net profit.

In addition, BRIS increased the number of other operating revenues by around 8.50%, to Rp3.01 trillion, from Rp2.77 trillion.

The company also succeeded in reducing the allowance for impairment losses on net productive and non-productive assets by around 1.9%, to Rp3.55 trillion from Rp3.62 trillion.

The total assets of BRIS until the end of December 2021 reached Rp. 265.28 trillion, with liabilities of Rp61.88 trillion, equity of Rp25.01 trillion, and temporary syirkah funds reaching Rp. 178.38 trillion.
