Jakarta - PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk throughout 2021 posted a consolidated net profit growth for the year attributable to owners of around 232.25% to Rp10.89 trillion at the end of 2021 from the previous year of only Rp3.28 trillion.

The financial report published on Wednesday (26/1) reported that the net profit increased thanks to the rise in interest income and net premium income of around 2.64% to Rp39.645 trillion from Rp38.623 trillion.

In addition, BNI reduced operating expenses other than net interest by around 19.50%, to Rp26.87 trillion from Rp33.39 trillion.

Until the end of 2021, BNI's total assets reached Rp.964.83 trillion, growing by around 8.24% from the previous year of Rp.891.33 trillion.
