Jakarta - PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) posted a 19.49% decrease in profit to Rp4.378 trillion during the January-September 2021 period compared to the same period last year Rp5.438 trillion.

The company's financial report published on Friday (22/10) showed a decrease in net sales of around 7.47%  to Rp30.029 trillion from Rp32.456 trillion triggered the lower profit.

The correction also experienced the lower cost of goods sold by around 4.16% to Rp14.936 trillion from Rp15.585 trillion.

Unilever's operating profit also eroded by around 18.08% to Rp5.812 trillion from Rp7.095 trillion.

Unilever's total assets were recorded at Rp20.206 trillion in the first nine months of this year, with liabilities of Rp14,880 trillion and equity of Rp5.326 trillion.

Meanwhile, Unilever recorded the position of cash and cash equivalents at the end of the period at Rp541,885 billion.
