Jakarta - PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources And Technology Tbk (SMAR) throughout 2021 posted a net profit attributable to owners of Rp2.82 trillion, an increase of 83.74% compared to the same period the previous year of Rp1.53 trillion.

The financial report released on Tuesday (3/22) showed SMAR's net sales growth of around 40.98%, to Rp57.004 trillion from Rp40.43 trillion, fueled the increase in net profit.

However, its cost of goods sold increased by about 33.24%, from Rp34.55 trillion to Rp46.04 trillion.

Until the end of December 2021, SMAR's total assets were recorded at Rp40.34 trillion, with cash and cash equivalents of Rp2.71 trillion.
