Jakarta - PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk (INKP) recorded an increase in net profit attributable to owners by 79.24% to US$527.07 million in 2021 compared to the same period the previous year of US$294.05 million.

The financial report released on Wednesday (4/6), showed that the increase in profit was supported by high net sales of around 17.74%, to US$3.51 billion from US$2.98 billion.

The company was also able to gain a foreign exchange gain of US$12.65 million, swinging from the previous loss of US$3.17 million.

Until the end of December 2021, the company's total assets reached US$8.97 billion with a year-end cash and cash equivalent position of US$1.05 billion.
