Jakarta - PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (ENRG), as of January-September 2021, posted a net profit attributable to owners of US$18.51 million, a decline of around 55.94% to US$18.51 million from the same period in the previous year of US$42.03 million.

The financial report published Wednesday (1/12), the low net profit achievement was triggered by the high cost of goods sold by around 28.99%, to US$175.16 million from US$135.78 million.

The company also managed to reduce financial costs, fines, and impairment losses by 52.99% to US$10.78 million, 97.16% to US$144,264, and 93.45% to US$289,367, respectively.

However, foreign exchange gains decreased more than three times or from US$422,947 to US$176,320, as well as other expenses net of US$9.59 million from a profit of US$28.85 million.

Nevertheless, ENRG managed to increase net sales by 23.62% or to US$295.58 million from US$239.09 million.
