Jakarta - PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk posted a net profit for the year attributable to owners for the January-September 2021 period of around 37.03% to Rp2.257 trillion from the same period last year of Rp1.647 trillion.

The financial report published on Friday (29/10) showed the increase in net profit was due to the company's ability to reduce other net operating expenses by around 2.18% to IDR 7.291 trillion from IDR 7.135 trillion.

The company's operating profit rose 37.94 percent to Rp3.152 trillion from Rp2.285 trillion.

However, BSI recorded an increase in non-operational loss of around 58.78% to Rp50.139 billion from Rp31,576 billion.

BSI's total assets for the period ending September 2021 are around Rp. 251.051 trillion.

BSI's financial ratio is the allowance for impairment losses on financial assets to earning assets which increased from 2.52% to 2.98%. BSI managed its Net NPL decreased to 1.02% from 1.12%,
