Jakarta - PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) recorded a surge in net profit attributable to entities in 2021 by around 1,648%, to US$69.121 million from US$3.953 million.

The company's financial report released on Monday (18/4) showed the strengthening of other net income by around 770.08% to US$120.429 million from US$13.968 million, boosting significant profit growth.

The increase in other income also helped BRMS' performance, including obtaining a net profit on foreign exchange of US$1,492 million from a previous loss of US$272,764. In addition, interest income also widened by around 551.81%, to US$239,569 from US$36,754.
