Jakarta - PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) recorded a net profit attributable to owners for the January-September period this year of US$6.462 million, up 6.26% from the same period last year of US$6894 million.

According to the company's financial report published on Monday (31/10), revenue only rose by about 1.03% to US$8.320 million from US$8.235 million.

Revenue growth was stagnant due to the higher cost of revenue of around 30.42%, to US$3.361 million from US$2.577 million.

The company successfully reduced operating expenses by around 21.76%, to US$3,379 million from US$4.319 million. Thus, operating profit strengthened by about 17.92% to US$ 1.579 million from US$1.339 million.

BRMS also benefited from an increase in foreign exchange profit of around 26.53% to US$1.302 million from US$1.029 million.

However, net other income shrank nearly 30 times to only US$1.994 million from US$31.838 million.
