Jakarta - PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN) achieved a surge in profit for the period attributable to owners in the first nine months of this year by around 150.30% to US$1.627 billion from US$650 million in the same period last year.

According to the company's financial report released on Monday (10/31), higher revenue of around 91.42% to US$3.348 billion from US$1.749 billion bolstered Bayan's profit.

However, the cost of revenue swelled by 37.89% to US$927,.554 million from US$672.634 million.

Selling expenses increased by approximately 32.48% to US $163.146 million from US $123.145 million. As a result, the financial burden has been suppressed more than 30 times to US$1.952 million from US$36.838 million.

Financial income rose about 56.16% to US$4.877 million from US$3.123 million.

Bayan's total assets reached US$3.258 billion as of September this year, with US$804.012 million in liabilities and US$2.454 billion in equity
