Jakarta - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) reported profit growth for the period attributable to owners for the January-September 2021 period of 104.79% to Rp1.710 trillion from Rp835.783 billion in the same period last year.

The financial report released on Friday (12/11) revealed that the increase in the current year's profit was driven by an increase in sales of around 46.78% to Rp26.476 trillion from Rp18.037 trillion.

Antam's cost of goods sold also increased by around 41.01% to Rp21.339 trillion from Rp15.132 trillion.

In addition, Antam's operating expenses also swelled by around 90.50%, or from Rp1.464 trillion to Rp2.789 trillion.

Despite the significant increase in operating expenses, Antam still recorded an increase in operating profit of around 62.98% to Rp2,347 trillion from Rp1,440 trillion.

Antam also collected other net income of Rp192.476 billion from the previous burden of around Rp322.537 billion.
