PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) in the second quarter of 2021 posted a net profit of Rp843.2 billion or grew 25% YoY compared to the same period the previous year of Rp674.9 billion.

“Excluding the value of forex adjustments, net profit was booked at Rp745.8 billion compared to Rp466.2 billion in the same period a year earlier, which represented an increase of 60% YoY with a net profit margin of 27%,” said MNCN Corporate Secretary, Cahyarina A. Asri in his statement in Jakarta on Tuesday (3/8).

Meanwhile, in the first semester of 2021, net profit grew 26% YoY to Rp1.264 trillion from Rp1.008 trillion in the same period last year.

The profit growth was supported by a 40% YoY increase in consolidated revenue in the second quarter of 2021 to Rp2.72 trillion from Rp1.95 trillion in the same period last year.

Meanwhile, the total revenue achieved in semester I-2021 was recorded at Rp4.86 trillion, an increase of 23% YoY from Rp3.96
