The performance of PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk (POWR) during the first three months of this year shows the recovery of industrial area electricity consumption which has begun to return to the period before the COVID-19 pandemic.

Compared to the same period in 2020 or before the pandemic, electricity demand from industrial customers only decreased by 0.5%. POWR managed to record a net sales value of US$129.2 million in the first quarter of 2021, compared to the same period in the previous year of US$ 130.3 million.

POWR's good financial performance was also reflected in its profit for the period of US$19.6 million, an increase of 504.7% (YoY) from US$3.2 million in the same period last year. Cash flow for the first three months of 2021 generated from operating activities of US$38.9 million also increased by 50.5% (YoY) compared to the same period last year.
