Jakarta - PT Jasa MargaTbk recorded a surge in profit for the year attributable to owners in the first quarter of around 142.71% to Rp392.804 billion from Rp161.837 billion in the same period last year.

The financial report published on Friday (5/13) showed that the increase in profit was supported by an increase in revenue of around 5.04% to Rp.3.668 trillion from Rp.3.492 trillion.

Jasa Marga was also able to reduce the cost of revenue by around 0.92%, to Rp1,855 trillion from Rp1,838 trillion.

The company managed to reduce finance costs by 20.36%, to Rp954.474 billion from Rp1.198 trillion. It also obtained a share of net income from associates and joint ventures of around Rp46.007 billion, swinging from a loss of Rp45.322 billion.

Meanwhile, Jasa Marga's total assets as of the end of March this year amounted to Rp98.860 trillion, with total liabilities of Rp73.157 trillion and equity of Rp25.702 trillion.
