Jakarta - PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) in the first quarter of 2022, posted a net profit of US$1.85 million, or an increase of 10.50% compared to the same period in the previous year of US$1.67 million.

Revenue growth of 118% to US$2.9 million from US$1.35 million bolstered the net profit.

BRMS President Director Agus Projosasmito said the company would continue to improve its production and financial performance for the benefit of shareholders.

"Construction of our second gold factory in Palu (4,000 tons of ore per day) will be completed this year," he said in Jakarta on Tuesday (5/31).

In addition, this new gold plant will positively impact the company's production performance, revenue, and net profit in the future.

As of the first quarter of 2022, the company's total assets reached US$1.04 billion, with liabilities of around US$100,073 million and equity of US$942.41 million.
