PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk (GOOD) in the first quarter of 2021, posted net sales of Rp2.37 trillion. The profit grew by 1.20% compared to the same period the previous year of Rp2.24 trillion.

Based on the company's financial report on the IDX, Tuesday (6/7), GOOD's net sales until the end of March 2021 included related parties, consisting of local sales of Rp52.57 billion and export sales Rp10.56 billion. Then sales to third parties, including local and export, amounted to Rp2.11 trillion and Rp93.39 billion, respectively.

Along with the growth in net sales, the cost of goods sold increased by 4.17% from Rp. 1.52 trillion in the first quarter of 2020 to Rp1.59 trillion in the first three months of 2021.

Despite the increase in sales, profit for the period attributable to owners of the parent company decreased by 12.62% to Rp122.73 billion from the same period in the previous year of Rp140.47 billion.
