The Angkasa Pura I Consortium won first place with 100 points so that it outperformed the remaining consortium participants from the lengthy selection process, the Batam Consortium consisting of PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero), PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk, Egis Project SA, Engie South East Asia Pte Ltd.

"The victory of the Angkasa Pura I consortium in the selection of managers of Hang Nadim Airport is an important milestone for the company, where this is the first time the company has won a competition among other key airport industry players, both national and global, to manage potential airports.

"This is also an acknowledgment of the capability and quality of Angkasa Pura I as a trusted airport management company," said President Director of AP I, Faik Fahmi, through a press release, Monday (22/3).

With the winning of the Hang Nadim Airport management tender in Batam, in the future Angkasa Pura, I will have a greater chance of securing cooperation contracts to manage other potential airports, both domestically and abroad.

Also, this victory strengthens and provides more strategic added value to the plan to establish a holding company for the Aviation and Tourism Ecosystem BUMNs and adds to the company's portfolio and airport management network to 16 airports.
