Kapuas Prima Coal Sales Jumps 66% to Rp500 Billion in First Half of 2021


Jakarta - PT Kapuas Prima Coal Tbk (ZINC) until the end of the first semester of 2021 recorded sales of Rp499.9 billion, up 65.9% compared to the same period last year of Rp. 301.4 billion

Director of Kapuas Prima Coal Evelyn Kioe said that along with sales, net profit increased 118.8% to Rp89.5 billion, compared to the same period in 2020 of Rp40.9 billion.

"This achievement cannot be separated from the increase in commodity prices and increased demand for iron ore and base metal commodities, especially for lead and zinc concentrates from various countries," he said in a statement on Monday (30/8).

In addition, this achievement was also supported by the results of increasing production capacity and quality which was continuously carried out by the company.

Furthermore, until June 2021, the company's largest sales contribution came from zinc concentrate of Rp230.4 billion, an increase of 57.7% from the same period last year of Rp
