Jakarta - PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF) has bought around 20% stake in PT Aventis Pharma from PT Usaha Minidin Raya (UMR).

"Thus, Kalbe has signed 100% of Aventis Pharma's shares," said KLBF Corporate Secretary Lukito Kurniawan Gozali in information disclosure in Jakarta on Tuesday (10/25).

Previously, Kalbe had signed an Aventis share purchase agreement with Sanofi Aventis Participations and Hoechst GMBH on July 22, 2022, to take over 80% ownership in PT Aventis Pharma.

He hopes that the transaction will positively impact the company's performance, particularly in the prescription drug division.

The transaction was marked by signing a share purchase agreement between Kalbe and UMR on October 20, 2022.
