JCI Tad Rises, Tracking Rise in Regional Stock Markets


The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) on Tuesday (6/7) opened up 9.97 points in line with the strengthening of regional stock markets.

"This morning the Nikkei index opened and traded in the positive 0.3% zone, as well as the Kospi Index rose 0.4%. We expect the JCI to move mixed in today's trading," said PT Samuel Sekuritas Research in Jakarta.

Meanwhile, at the opening of trading on Tuesday, the Indonesia Stock Exchange rose 9.97 points (0.17%) to 6,015.58.

The leading stock index LQ45 rose 3.53 points (0.42%) to 846.43.

Wall Street was still on holiday to welcome US Independence Day, which falls on July 4.
