The Jakarta Composite Index in the first trading session on Monday (2/8) rose 7.08 points (0.12%) to 6,077.12.

There were 222 stocks rising, 269 stocks lower, and 146 stocks stagnant. The total transaction volume reached 14.71 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp7.75 trillion.

The strengthening of the JCI was supported by the increase in a number of sectoral indices. The index with the largest gain was printed by the Raw Goods Sector IDX, which shot 0.99%.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) up 8.25%, PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON) up 5.5%, PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP) up 3.98%.

Meanwhile, the top losers in the LQ45 were PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) down 3.75%, PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN) down 2.66%, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) down 2 ,38%.
