JCI Tad Down 014% at 6,197


The Jakarta Composite Index in the first session of trading today on Friday (6/8), weakened 8.39 points or 0.14% to 6,197.03

Two hundred eight stocks rose, 253 shares weakened, and 174 stocks remained unchanged. The total transaction volume reached 17.56 billion shares with a turnover of Rp9.54 trillion.

The decline in several sectoral indices triggered the decline in the JCI. The index with the deepest weakness was printed by the Financial Sector IDX, which corrected 0.97%. Meanwhile, IDX Technology Sector managed to become the sector with the most significant gain after soaring 3.46%.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk (INKP) up 3.65%, PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP) up 3.27%, PT Paper Factory Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (TKIM) up 2.20%.

The stocks included in the LQ45 top losers, among others, PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) fell 4.95%, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) fell 2.96%, PT Summarecon A
