The Jakarta Composite Index is predicted to weaken today, on Thursday (20/5).

PT Indosurya Bersinar Sekuritas CEO William Surya Wijaya said the JCI movement was still overshadowed by a wave of pressure that would not end.

"Investors can still use the momentum for fair correction to make accumulated purchases with short-term targets under the daily trading category," William said in his research.

Another sentiment that will influence the movement of the JCI is the release of economic data on the trade balance, which is presumably still in a stable condition.

For today's trading (20/5), William projects that JCI will move in the range of 5,711 to 5,978 levels.

Investors can observe several stocks, including the BBCA, INDF, TLKM, BBRI, KLBF, EXCL, and SRIL.
