The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today, Friday (28/5), has the potential to strengthen.

Indosurya Bersinar Sekuritas analyst William Surya Wijaya said the JCI movement pattern had succeeded in shifting the range of consolidation to a better direction. Meanwhile, opportunities for an increase are still visible in the JCI movement.

"The fluctuation of the rupiah exchange rate and commodity prices will still color the JCI movement in the future," William said in his research.

William predicts that JCI has the potential to move within a limited range of 5,741-5,978 on Friday (28/5).

Some of the stocks that investors can monitor include TLKM, UNVR, ICBP, ASII, SMGR, EXCL.
