JCI Rises 0.51% to 6,036


The Jakarta Composite Index in the first trading session, Tuesday (6/7), rose 30.71 points or 0.51% to 6,036.32.

246 stocks were rising, 238 stocks lower, and 144 stocks stagnant. The total transaction volume reached 12.48 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp7.58 trillion.

The increase in several sectoral indices supported the strengthening of the JCI. The index with the largest gain was the Technology Sector IDX, which shot up 2.49%.

Meanwhile, four other sectoral indices were corrected. The deepest weakness was printed by the IDX Infrastructure Sector, which fell 0.66%, the IDX Industry Sector fell 0.10%, the IDX Property & Real Estate Sector and the IDX Financial Sector both weakened 0.07%

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) up 8.93%, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) up 8.04%, PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) up 7.14 %.
