JCI Rises 0.15% to 6,041


The Jakarta Composite Index, in the first trading session today on Thursday (3/6), was up 9.18 points or 0.15% to 6,040.75.

Two hundred fifty-two stocks were rising, 213 stocks weakening, and 169 stocks stagnant. The total trading volume reached 11.97 billion shares with a total value of Rp6.36 trillion.

Five sectoral indices strengthened, supporting the JCI's rise. Meanwhile, five other sectoral indices are in the red zone.

The sectoral indices with the biggest gains were IDX Cyclic which rose 0.86%, IDX Trans rose 0.70%, and IDX Health rose 0.67%.

Meanwhile, the sectoral indexes with the deepest weakness were Property IDX which fell 0.58%, IDX Energy fell 0.55%, and IDX Industry fell 0.50%.

The top gainers in LQ45 were PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk (INKP) which was up 3.45%, PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) up 2.90%, PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP) increased 2.74%.
