JCI Rises 0.02% to 6,041


The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) in the first session of trading, Friday (9/7), rose slightly by 0.98 points (0.02%) to 6,040.88.

One hundred eighty stocks rose, 276 stocks weakened, and 173 stocks stagnated. The total transaction volume reached 10.61 billion shares with a turnover of Rp6.35 trillion.

The increase in several sectoral indices supported the strengthening of the JCI. The index with the most extensive strengthening was the Infrastructure Sector IDX, which rose 1.51%.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) up 4.65%, PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP) up 4.58%, PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) up 2.41% .

Meanwhile, the top losers in the LQ45 were PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG), down 3.03%, PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) fell 2.95%, PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) declined 2.37%.
