The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) opened up 68.88 points or 1.1 percent at 6,136.42 today on Tuesday, (1/2)

Of all traded shares, 176 stocks rose, 25 stocks fell, and 75 stocks were stagnant. The transaction value reached IDR151.85 billion from 201.16 million shares.

The top gainers that were included in the top gainers of the LQ45 index, among others, PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) 4.55 percent, PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) 4 percent, PT Mitra Keluarga Kary Advisor Tbk (MIKA) 2.99 percent.

Meanwhile, the top losers in the LQ45 index were PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG), which dropped 6.67 percent, PT Jasa Marga Tbk (JSMR) fell 1.09 percent, PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) decreased 1.05 percent.
