JCI Opens Up 0.71% at 6,322


The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) on Thursday (18/3), opened up 44.63 points or 0.71% at 6,321.86.

All sectoral indexes strengthened and supported the JCI movement. The biggest increases in succession were the infrastructure, plantation, various industries, basic industry, and mining sectors.

This is followed by the manufacturing sector, consumer goods, finance, trade and services sector, and finally, the construction sector.

While the stocks among the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) which rose 1.92%, PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) increased 1.77%, PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) gained 1.66%.

Meanwhile, stocks among the LQ45 top losers included PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES), which fell 0.66%, PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA) was down 0.35%, PT Jasa Marga Tbk (JSMR) decreased 0.23%.

Foreign investors recorded a net buy or net buy of Rp15.21 billion in all markets. The stocks with the largest foreign net purchases were PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) at Rp12.9 billion, PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) Rp5.2 billion, and PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) Rp4.6 billion.

The stocks with the largest foreign net sales were PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) worth Rp18.6 billion, PT Bank Jago Tbk (ARTO) Rp3.6 billion, and PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) Rp942.2 million.
