JCI Opens Slightly Lower ny 0.02% at 6,357


On Wednesday (3/3), the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) was in the red zone to 6,357 after dropping 0.02% at the opening of trading today.

Only four sectors supported the increase in the JCI this morning. The financial sector strengthened by 0.50%, the mining sector rose 0.30%, the construction, and property sector strengthened by 0.12%, and the plantation sector rose to a level of 0.11%.

Meanwhile, the basic industrial sector was down 0.51%, and the manufacturing sector fell 0.36%, the consumer goods sector fell 0.32%, the infrastructure sector fell 0.24%, the trade, and services sector fell 0.19%. Meanwhile, the miscellaneous industrial sector edged down 0.02%.

Meanwhile, among the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) which increased 1.12%. PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON) rose 0.86%, PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO) was up 0.84%.

Meanwhile, the LQ45 top losers included PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC), which fell 2.92%, PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) declined 2.85%, PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR) was down 2.14%.

Foreign investors recorded a net sell of Rp15 billion in all markets. The stocks with the largest foreign net sales were PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM), amounting to Rp7.9 billion, PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) with Rp5.1 billion, and PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI) with Rp4.1 billion.

The stocks with the largest foreign net buy were PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) with Rp5.1 billion, PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) Rp3.7 billion, and PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) Rp3 billion.
